THE CAGED BIRD SINGS: Art-Haus Fashion Show

March 31, 2024

Little Raven Gallery, San Francisco, California

Inspired by Maya Angelou’s landmark work I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, this chapter of Haus of Alt explores voice, freedom, and identity in a post-pandemic world.

The collection examines what it means to reclaim individuality in a society increasingly shaped by technology, conformity, and noise.

The show fused performance art, punk aesthetics, and emotional storytelling into a meditation on liberation.

The cage becomes metaphor, for society, expectation, and silence.

Fashion becomes the act of singing.

The collection, originally conceived in 2023, marked the first fully realized chapter of the Haus of Alt universe.

DA-PUNK BLOCK PARTY

June 28, 2025

Bushwick, Brooklyn

A full-day celebration of underground art, music, and fashion held at BK Warehouse in Bushwick. More than fifteen artists, musicians, and creators gathered for a collaborative cultural installation that blurred the line between performance and exhibition. Haus of Alt presented its upcycled fashion and jewelry collection alongside a live performance piece titled Art In Motion. Models moved through the space wearing handmade sustainable garments, transforming the event into a living installation. Guests were also given an exclusive preview of the upcoming Fall 2025 collection and runway show. This wasn’t just a pop-up.

This wasn’t just a pop-up, it was a living installation where fashion, rebellion, and community collided.

PUNK-ART: Art-Haus Fashion Show

September 14, 2025

Skewville Gallery, Bushwick, Brooklyn

“PUNK ART” is a wearable manifesto, a collision of rebellion, pop iconography, and radical self-invention.Inspired by the Pop Art movement that reshaped New York in the 1970s and 80s, the collection reinterprets the legacy of artists like Warhol, Basquiat, and Haring through the chaotic language of punk fashion.

In a culture drowning in algorithms and manufactured identity, the collection proposes a radical idea:The artist has become the art.Vintage garments are resurrected as living canvases, spray-painted, reconstructed, and reborn. Each piece exists somewhere between clothing and protest object. A walking exhibition of identity.

The Blazers

One-of-one vintage blazers transformed into hand-painted art pieces. Tailored silhouettes collide with graffiti marks, slogans, and chaotic layers inspired by Warhol’s celebrity portraiture and punk DIY culture.

The Vintage Tees

Curated band and pop-culture shirts reworked through intentional distressing, paint splashes, safety pins, and hand-stitched alterations.

Vivienne Westwood meets Warhol’s Factory. Basquiat’s raw genius meets DIY drag rebellion. Street trash transformed into silver relics.

Self as spectacle. Art as armor. Becoming in chaos. Celebrity versus identity. Rebellion as transformation

AFTER AMERICA

September 14, 2025

Signal NYC, Bushwick, Brooklyn

AFTER AMERICA is a live performance work exploring what happens to the body and the self when national identity fails to protect us when the promise collapses and belonging disappears. Through movement, projected visuals, and ritualized performance, the work reflects on grief, survival, and the act of rebuilding identity after rupture. The performance exists alongside REVIVAL, Haus of Alt’s upcoming jewelry collection, extending the collection’s themes of collapse, rebirth, and spiritual reconstruction. The body becomes the archive. The jewelry becomes the artifact.

Together they tell the story of survival in a world rebuilding itself.
